Her research interests lie in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on assistive technology for children with special needs and patients with brain impairments, healthcare robotics, advanced image and signal processing, and artificial intelligence systems across various applications. In addition to her academic and research endeavors, Dr. Rozita has substantial experience in managing several businesses and companies. Her leadership extends to the establishment of multiple startup companies, where she has played a key role in commercialization and technology transfer, helping to bridge the gap between academic research and industry application. As the Chief Executive Officer of UiTM Technoventure Sdn. Bhd., Dr. Rozita combines her extensive expertise in academia, business management, and technology commercialization to steer the company towards its strategic goals. Her leadership is instrumental in positioning UTV as a leading consultancy service and training provider, leveraging UiTM’s academic strengths to meet industry needs and contribute to the socio-economic development of Malaysia.
