is a distinguished academic and industry leader, currently serving as Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Chair-Elect of the IEEE Malaysia Section, Visiting Professor at the Eureka Robotics Centre, Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK, and Director of the Eureka Global Nexus Centre, UiTM. Her research focuses on Biomedical Engineering, with expertise in assistive technologies for children with special needs and patients with brain impairments, healthcare robotics, advanced image and signal processing, and artificial intelligence applications across diverse domains. Beyond her academic and research contributions, Prof. Rozita has extensive experience in business management and entrepreneurship. She has been instrumental in establishing multiple startup companies, driving commercialization initiatives, and facilitating technology transfer to bridge the gap between academic research and industry application. As Chief Executive Officer of UiTM Technoventure Sdn. Bhd., she integrates her expertise in academia, business, and technology commercialization to guide the company’s strategic direction. Under her leadership, UiTM Technoventure is positioned as a premier provider of consultancy, professional services, and training, leveraging UiTM’s academic strengths to meet industry demands and contribute to the socio-economic development of Malaysia.
